Men of the Church

All men are invited for a $3 breakfast, Bible study, and fellowship to the Activity Center in the rear of the church at 7:30 a.m. the 2nd Friday of each month. The last breakfast before the Summer break is on May 9th.    All men are welcome to attend to hear Rev. Ken Peters summarize our lessions of the past year.   Please sign up or notify C.E. Simmons.

Those who are able participate in occasional service projects.  The current project is the refurbishment of a cabin at the John Knox Church Camp. Anyone who would like to help paint, rescreen, and put up a light plywood ceiling is invited to call Davis Hensley.

All men are welcome at the "Playboys" gathering in the Conference Room for dominos or maybe cards or a board game at 10:30 a.m. the 2d and 4th Tuesdays of each month. PWO volunteers provide lunch for around $3.

All men are also invited to attend a "dutch treat" social hour and dinner usually the 3rd Tuesday of each month at 6 p.m. at various restaurants or homes.    The next gathering is a bit different, in that we will all meet on Saturday, May 17, about 6 pm at Dave Wright's home at 1289 River Chase Dr., off Hwy 306, to roast and toast Randal Garrett for his years of exemplary service.    Please sign up so we know how many to expect.
